The RF Extension Cable can be used for connecting and extending RF cable as needed. You can use it with our ADT external cellular antenna because most of the time this will require the extension of a cable to get it further away from the security panel and outdoors to a stable connection. RF cable is also known as coax cable so if you are looking for that this is it. Note: this can only be used for the cellular antenna and Is used to extend it or connect it to your security panel.

RF Extension Cable
The RF Extension Cable can be used for connecting and extending RF cable as needed. You can use it with our ADT external cellular antenna because most of the time this will require the extension of a cable to get it further away from the security panel and outdoors to a stable connection. RF cable is also known as coax cable so if you are looking for that this is it. Note: this can only be used for the cellular antenna and Is used to extend it or connect it to your security panel.
You can get this wire in 5FT, 25FT, 50Ft it is recommended for the cellular antenna to get at least the 25 feet one or at most 50 feet.
For basic installation you will want to:
- measure how far you will need to put the cell communicator from your system.
- disconnect the power from your system and plug in the cable that is used for your system labeled on the bag.
- then connect that to the coax cable and run it to the other cable that you will connect to your antenna
- connect the antenna and mount it with the mounting bracket provided
