ADT External Cellular Antenna Kit

The ADT External Cellular Antenna Kit can be used for extending your cell range in your house and is especially useful for when you don’t have a good enough cellular connection from inside your home. This will extend it by mounting this antenna in either an attics, plenums, and indoor spaces but it is recommended that you mount it further away from the panel up to 50 feet away and outdoors where you have a stable connection. You may need more cable to be able to put the cellular antenna outside, we have 50ft, 25ft, and 5ft of coax cable found here.

There are two different wires that come with this kit and one is for the ADT Command as seen below

And the other wire which is used for both the Lynx and the Vista panels are seen below

This works with the ADT command panel as well as the ADT Lynx touch and the Lynx touch.

For basic installation you will want to:

1. measure how far you will need to put the cell communicator from your system.
2. disconnect the power from your system and plug in the cable that is used for your system labeled on the bag.
3. then connect that to the coax cable and run it to the other cable that you will connect to your antenna
4. connect the antenna and mount it with the mounting bracket provided
