This Qolsys Wireless Carbon Monoxide Alarm is powered by a 3V battery wireless detector intended for use with a compatible wireless alarm system. It communicates with the control panel and sends alarm, tampers, and battery condition messages to the system’s receiver. This device is designed to protect individuals from the acute effects of carbon monoxide exposure. With its built-in LCD, this will provide a local visual and audible indication of what is the status of the system and detector. It can be installed in the ceiling with a position of at least 12″ from any wall or mounted on the wall with a position of at least 6″ from the ceiling. Do not directly position the alarm above a sink, cooker, or oven. You can purchase this Replacement Battery that is perfect for this type of detector.

This detector has a built-in tamper switch that will cause a Tamper signal to be displayed at the console of the alarm system if it is removed from its mounting base. This device is designed for indoor use only.
