This Garage Door Opener Remote Controller works with virtually any automatic garage door opener connected to a sectional garage door. Additionally, customers only need to ‘pair’ the unit into their Alarm.com system, mount the unit, connect two wires and plug it in. Now you have a complete system that will open or close the garage door remotely through your Z-Wave Security Panel. (2GIG, Qolsys, or Vista SEM)

In addition, the included built-in audible and visual warning measures (strobe light and sounder) make this a safe way to remotely open/close a garage door. It can be added in addition to the safety features that come with the garage door opener.

Finally, the Z-Wave Garage Door Opener Remote Controller accessory integrates with other Linear Z-Wave enabled products. It can also act as a wireless z-wave repeater to ensure that commands intended for another device in the network are received (useful as a result of when a device would otherwise be out of radio range).

Furthermore, in order to add this to your system you must have automation already included in your service plan. Also, the garage door opener needs to have a place where the two wires can go, usually there will be two wires going to the button on the wall that is pressed to open the garage door.
