This ELK Alarm Engine 8-Relays Output Expander is a reliable and compact component in any security system that aims to extend its capabilities by incorporating this fantastic and high-performance gear. It possesses eight Form “C” relay outputs which might control the differential apparatuses like lights, alarms, locks, etc hence making it flexible. The wiring of the expander is complemented by the connections for DC power and battery to allow power functions to continue their operation. It delivers an efficient performance on the 4-wire data bus; thus, the system can communicate with other components effectively. The connection remains easy through plug-in terminal strips for model stability and safety. Another feature, the onboard status and diagnostic LED, gives users an indication of the device’s status to help with repair. For flexibility, the expansion bus lineup on the expander is equipped with an EOL jumper to ease configuration during connection.

In the vertical position, neat installation is made with the help of the ELK-SWG glides that are provided for the purpose. This component is extremely helpful for designing a more complicated alarm system and serves as an ideal addition to the ELK Security System.

Installation Instructions:

*Before making any wiring connections, TURN THE E27 MASTER POWER SWITCH OFF.

• DATA BUS
  CAT5 or CAT6 wire (4 pairs, 8 conductors) is highly recommended for all data bus cables and extra wires may be required Use a 4 conductors to connect terminals BUS +12V, Data A, Data B, and Neg from control to terminals +12V, A, B, and Neg on the ELK Alarm Engine 8-Relays Output Expander.
