The Elk 10 Watt Audio Amplifier is a lightweight and compact amplifier that can be used as public address audio and sound amplifier which can also be connected to a speaker and saves you a lot of money.

It can be installed centrally or remotely; it can be connected to a telephone system paging output, a microphone, or even an ordinary single line phone set. The audio source is amplified up to 10 watts, adjustable from an on-board volume control.

This Elk 10 Watt Audio Amplifier operates on low voltage, thus saving money by requiring only 22-24 gauge telco or alarm type wire. Additionally, it can be used in multiple speakers and also features short circuit protection and built-in volume adjust.

NOTE: The Audio Amplifier is primarily designed for short duration (intermittent) paging applications. For long durations, such as playing music, you may need to reduce the volume output, or lower the power input voltage, or lower the speaker loading in order to keep the Audio Amplifier from overloading and shutting down.
