DSC Powerseries 9047

The DSC Powerseries 9047 has a smaller footprint than most of the other panels and it has a sleek and modern design to it. This comes with an enlarged keypad and 5 programmable function buttons that you can program from the keypad. Most likely you are coming here to get a replacement battery for this which we have on our website here. Note that this Panel is now discontinued but if you are looking to get it replaced the ADT Impassa or the ADT Command or the Qolsys IQ panel. If you have the DSC 9047 you can still buy a replacement battery for it.

To replace your battery

Using a flat-head screwdriver, pry open the keypad by inserting the screwdriver into the two slots found on the bottom-front of your keypad.
Disconnect the battery.
Using a Phillip’s screwdriver, unscrew the battery holder. The holder should then slide back, allowing you to remove the old battery.
Insert the new battery and reverse all previous steps. Holder should slide back in. Secure with a screw. Connect the battery.  Place front half of keypad on top of back half and press firmly down. Both halves should snap into place.
