ADT Honeywell Security Interface Module HSPIM is a device that creates an addressable zone input for a conventional detection device. This device is required when connecting a Vista or Lynx panel to an ADT Pulse Gateway or iHub. It offers a connection to an addressable bus and a supervised zone input. When the zone input is open, the module sends status data to the control panel indicating the open position. When the zone input is shorted, the module sends status data to the control panel, indicating the shorted condition. As long as the zone input is normal, the module sends data to the control panel, indicating the normal condition.
