The detector features a single microphone with a dual-stage thud and crash detection algorithm to effectively identify breaking glass sounds from various types of glass, including plate, tempered, laminated, and coated. Users can also adjust the sensitivity for optimized performance. It includes two CR123A 3V lithium batteries with a long-lasting life of up to 5 years. It communicates securely with two-way encryption and is compatible with the 2GIG EDGE panel (firmware version 1.3 or later required). With a 360° horizontal sensing angle when ceiling-mounted (180° when wall-mounted), it ensures full coverage in any room.
