Description of Qolsys Encrypted Wireless Glassbreak Detector:

The Qolsys Encrypted Wireless Glassbreak Detector protects you if an intruder tries to break in through a window. Using our proprietary S-Line encryption technology, it encrypts signals sent to the IQ Panel while still providing backwards compatibility for legacy 319.5 systems.

It’s triggered by the pitch and frequency of breaking glass, the IQ Glass is effective within 25′. Additionally, it activates automatically when you arm your IQ Panel in either “Stay” or “Away” mode.  You can typically install it on the opposite wall or on the ceiling to allow for better “listening” ability in large living areas. Now, you can just set up the glass breaker detector and stay relax and at ease from getting intruders at your home.
