The cloud options with the wireless ADT Outdoor WIFI cameras start at $249. This is a cost-effective solution because there is usually low installation cost if any and there is not a recorder onsite unless you have ADT Control and decide to add one..
You need to plan on an upload speed of around 256Kbs-o.5Mbps per camera. If your upload speed is 2 Mps than you will be able to handle 4 ADT Pulse cameras without any issues. You can check your speed at www.speedtest.com. ADT Outdoor Cameras are 1MP but we do have 2MP (1080P) options available for ADT Control.
ADT Command Cameras:
Pros: You can have up to 8 wireless cameras added to your ADT Command system. These cameras can record 6000 30-second clips monthly when there is motion or another trigger to the cloud. You can view live video to check on your home or business. There are indoor and outdoor cameras available. For more cameras you can add up to 8 expansions packs which adds 4 cameras per pack and another 5000 clips. In comparison to the ADT Pulse, they don’t need a 5 minute break in between recordings and they have better image quality.
Cons: You still have a limited number of clips based on your monitoring package. While you still have the option to add more clips per month, you still do not have a constant recording unless you add the ADT Control recorder.

ADT PULSE CAMERAS
Pros: They record on the cloud. They can record 30 second clips if there is motion or an alarm event/trigger. ADT will store unlimited 30 second clips for a month. Easy to install. Low cost. You can have up to 8-10 for the same ADT Pulse rate.
Cons: If you want to have longer clips than 30 seconds you will not be able to unless you get a wired system or upgrade to ADT Control. There is at least a 5 minute downtime between clips.
ADT Pulse HD OC835 Outdoor Wireless Camera

The MDC835 is the High Definition ADT Pulse Outdoor Infrared Dome Camera. It uses Wi-Fi but needs to be connected to power. Clear 720P HD picture. It is much like its sister camera the OC835 just in a dome form and the field of view is a little more narrow.
