The Qolsys Encrypted Mini Door Window Sensor is an ultra-compact encrypted sensor that securely connects to the Qolsys Panel 2. In addition, it features proprietary S-Line encryption technology that’s more secure than most other wireless security sensors. By encrypting signals sent to the IQ Panel, it prevents jamming and hacking the RF signal.

These sensors are very easy to install on anything that opens or closes, like doors, windows, cabinets, freezers, or gun safes. It can provide intelligent notifications, including “door left open” custom named, as well as support smart home rules. Rules include “when door opens, turn on light” as well as “when door left open adjust the thermostat to save energy.”

The Qolsys Encrypted Door Window Sensor uses an innovative board as well as an antenna design to extend range. Additionally, it mounts on a variety of surfaces.
