This Net2 Plus Single Door Expansion Kit offers a single-door networkable access control unit that connects to a central administration PC using a standard Ethernet network. It offers centralized control, event reporting, and flexible user access control. This kit has a Proximity Reader P50 included and Metal Cabinet with PoE+ Power Supply for power connection. The control unit also has an RS485 connection, which means it can connect with other Net2 plus or Net2 classic control units using a dedicated CAT5 cable. One control unit can serve as the network interface for the LAN and also connect to other units through a wired RS485 daisy chain. This eliminates the need for a separate converter to connect TCP/IP to RS485. The Net2 Plus Single Door Expansion Kit, PoE+ PSU also has a diagnostic LED mounted close to their relevant terminals to assist with trouble-free installation.

The Net2 plus unit now comes with a PoE+ power supply in a metal/plastic cabinet, eliminating the need for a separate mains power backup.
