It features built-in tamper detection to alert the system if the front cover is removed and supervised operation to trigger an alarm if the wiring is compromised. Its versatile design allows easy mounting on a surface wall or gang box, adapting to different installation environments. The removable terminal strips provide convenient access, simplifying the wiring process of this First Alert Hardwired Zone Expansion Module for installers.

• 8 hard-wired zones per module
• Supports normally open, normally closed, double balanced, zone doubling, and End of line resistor types
• Physical: 6.93” W X 5.43” H X 1.99 D or 176mm W X 138mm L X 50.5mm D
• Electrical:
  • Input Voltage = 12VDC nominal (10-14VDC)
  • Input Current = 40mA with all 8 zones used.
    Note this does not include powered devices using the AUX terminals.
• Power supply regulation on board – powered off the VISTAH3 controls power and battery backed up if the anel loses AC.
• Loop Response Time = 400ms
• Required Loop Resistance = 2K ohm
• Operating Temperature: 32 to 122 F, 0 to 50 C
