This Axis 5MP Outdoor IP Door Intercom is a compact communications device and security camera with easy installation and efficient performance monitoring. Equipped with a 5MP video camera with enhanced sound features, it has options for two-way talk as well as remote door unlock. Another advantage is the device integration in one mullion form factor that provides versatility to be used in different environments. Excellent performance in low light levels due to Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) and Axis Lightfinder technology allows the user to receive high-quality video with high resolution. The deep learning-based analytics are enabled through the preinstallation of AXIS Object Analytics on the Axis 5MP Outdoor IP Door Intercom to enhance the ability to detect and distinguish between humans and vehicles.

The device is equipped with a high level of security against cyber threats, and it also comes with Axis Edge Vault, which allows for proper storage of cryptographic information and video files. ONVIF compatibility is also provided along with support for the Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) thus the Axis partner products can integrate into the system. It is an IP65, NEMA 4X, and IK08-rated camera to undertake challenging and harsh environmental conditions. It can be powered by Power over Ethernet (PoE).
