Description
The ADT Wireless Relay Module is a wireless module that can add remote sirens and strobes. With Honeywell Lynx Series security systems, software revisions of 9.0 or high, such as the Honeywell Lynx Plus or the Honeywell Lynx Touch, you can also add remote arming or disarming indicators.
Operation:
The ADT Wireless Relay Module has 3 LED lights on the circuit board directly above the DIP switches. Red means your system is armed, Yellow means your system is in alarm mode, and green means your system is properly powered.
The Relay has two separate dry contacts. If a siren is connected, relay A will stay activated if a burglar alarm is triggered. After you disarm the system or after the programmed bell timeout, relay A will deactivate. If a fire alarm activates, relay A will activate temporally so the wired siren temporally sounds. Relay B will activate when the system arms to turn on an arming indicator LED that unlatches when you disarm the wireless security system.
Power:
Sirens and sounders require a power supply, normally connecting to an auxiliary power supply. This will power the terminals of the ADT wireless Relay Module. You need a power supply with enough amperage to sufficiently power the sirens connected to your system. A 16.5VAC transformer will provide the power supply for your sounders. You should also have a backup battery to keep your sirens and sounders functioning in the event of a power outage. You should house the power supply and battery inside the small metal alarm cabinet for a neat and secure installation.
Additional devices:
The Lynx Touch system lacks sufficient auxiliary power to activate hardwired strobes or sirens. But do you want a louder siren than what the Lynx Touch has? Adding the Honeywell WAVE wireless siren or ADT Wireless Relay Module are the only wireless options. People with hearing loss can use the module to attach a strobe light. This will alert occupants of an emergency in the home.

The module can be installed by an ADT technician or a professional electrician, and it requires a compatible ADT security system to operate. Once installed, you can use the ADT mobile app or web portal to remotely control the connected devices.
