(1 customer review)

$150.00

The ADT Wireless Heat Detector offers expanded fire detection and installation flexibility. Additionally ideal for hard-to-wire locations and applications that require more than smoke detection. This is a fast and easy install with no wires to run. Furthermore, this detector contains a built-in fixed temperature sensor, which will signal an alarm if the environmental temperature rises above 135°F. While also incorporating an additional rate-of-rise temperature sensor. Fires typically cause a rapid rise in temperature in the surrounding area. Lastly, the rate-of-rise thermostat senses the rise in temperature and signals an alarm if the increase is 15°F or more per minute.

Will the ADT Wireless Heat Detector work with your security system?

If you have a Honeywell model Vista, SafewatchADT Command, or Quick Connect, then it will be compatible as long as you have wireless zones available. If you have a Vista or a Safewatch Pro panel, you can add this easily. Note: this option is only available if you have a programming keypad. And if you only have a numeric keypad, you will need to add a programming keypad or have a technician add it since he carries a programming keypad.

It’s NOT compatible with DSC Premise Pro, Impassa, or Powerseries models. If you have one of those, you will want to get the Smoke and Heat detector that is compatible with Impassas and other DSC brand panels.

If you do not know what brand or model of your ADT Security System, you can either log into the ADT Pulse Portal and click on the systems tab. It will tell you or you can try to read it off of a keypad, the control panel, or even a user manual.

Heat Detector Transmitter

Key Features:

  • Contains a built-in transmitter that can send alarm, supervisory, and battery condition messages to the system’s receiver/control unit.
  • Powered by a three-volt lithium battery. If the battery voltage gets too low, the detector sends a low battery signal to the control panel
  • Features a tamper switch. This causes a trouble signal to be sent to the control if the unit is removed from the mounting base
  • UL Listed for Commercial (when using the Receiver) or Residential applications
