The ADT Command Outdoor Gate Sensor Kit is perfect if you have a gate outside your house and you want to be alerted when it is opened. It is compatible with the ADT Command Panel. This gate sensor kit comes with both the module and the wireless contact that is needed. Typically the wireless range will reach around 40-60 ft away from the panel. If your gate is further away then it is recommended that you add this repeater.

The ADT Outdoor Wireless Contact is a weatherproof, water-resistant, outdoor, wireless transmitter that provides excellent detection. It also performs well in extreme temperatures. It operates in temperatures from -40˚ F to 150˚ F (-40˚ C to +66˚ C), (100% RH).

This contact also contains two unique zones. The first loop is a normally closed circuit contact that can have external devices wired directly to it. The second loop is a built-in magnetic reed switch that uses to protect gates, sheds, detached garages, or any other outdoor area with an exit/entry point.

This Command Outdoor Gate Sensor Kit is easy to install. The first step is to insert the module into the Command Panel, before powering it up. The second step is to trip the sensor while the panel is in learn mode (Only an ADT tech can put it in learn mode).
