This 2GIG Wireless Flood and Temperature Sensor helps detect water leaks and temperature changes before they turn into costly problems. Operating on the dependable 345 MHz wireless frequency from 2GIG, it communicates reliably with compatible panels. Unlike standard water sensors, this probe-style design allows the sensing probe to be placed exactly where water is most likely to collect, while the main transmitter stays mounted nearby. It also monitors ambient temperature and sends alerts if conditions exceed safe limits, helping prevent frozen pipes, overheating equipment, or unnoticed leaks. The sensor transmits in nonencrypted mode by default, and can be set to encrypted mode via an on-board switch. It works with the all-new GC Touch, 2GIG EDGE, and earlier control panels from 2GIG.
