ClareOne Wireless Heat Detector is a reliable sensor that detects the sudden rise of heat in the surroundings. This heat sensor can be set up to detect a fixed temperature of either 135F or 200F. It features a built-in thermistor and uses electronic processing to detect and report rising heat conditions and send communication directly to the ClareOne Wireless Security Home Panel.

The ClareOne Wireless Heat Detector is easy to install and can be mounted almost anywhere to detect a rise in heat conditions. It is powered by a 3V lithium battery providing up to 10 years of battery life. A great addition to early warning devices that protects your home.

Installation Guide:

• Heat detectors are normally installed in areas that are prone to smoke such as kitchens and garages.
• Installation notes:
  • Avoid areas that may have rapidly increasing temperatures such as fireplaces, stoves, heaters, etc.
  • When mounting the detector should be placed on a ceiling at least 4 inches away from any wall. If placed on a wall the detector must be within 6 inches of the ceiling.
  • If using the sensor with the heat setting at 135°F make sure the ceiling location does not exceed this temperature.
