The Wifi Module for Lynx Touch internet alarm communicator fits seamlessly inside the LYNX Touch wireless alarm control panel for a clean and easy installation. Once you install and program it, it will wirelessly send all alarm signals from your module to your broadband internet router. That way, it can transmit them to the central station.

This module doesn’t require an Ethernet cable between your LYNX Touch security system and your router. The WiFi feature is a huge advantage for the do-it-yourself (DIY) installer since it’s hard to wire an Ethernet cable through a home that you’ve already built.

Additionally, we recommend adding an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) to your home’s router and modem. This way, your internet service doesn’t go down during a power outage. This module gets its power straight from your LYNX Touch wireless alarm control panel which has a built-in backup battery. So as long as the internet service is working, your WiFi enabled security system can send out all alarm signals.
