With 130 dB True WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) capabilities, it ensures balanced and clear imagery in backlit and high-contrast scenes. It also features integrated warm white light up to 30 meters away, for improved nighttime vision with full-color video. To ensure more efficient and precise monitoring, it has Smart AI capabilities, offering intelligent perimeter protection (line crossing, intrusion, enter/leave area) and intelligent target classification. This helps eliminate nuisance alarms by distinguishing between people, vehicles, and other irrelevant detections such as animals and weather conditions.  The camera also offers 9:16 Corridor Mode, which is perfect for surveillance in vertical spaces, such as corridors, aisles, doors, stairwells, and building perimeters, to efficiently cover narrow spaces.

To provide better situational awareness, it features a built-in microphone supporting audio input and output, as well as audio and video recording. It also includes motion, tampering, audio, and object-based alerts, offering robust security features. The Uniview 8MP ColorHunter Smart AI Turret Network Camera has a microSD slot (up to 512GB) to store video data locally.
