The recessed 3/4″ iON Plunger MICRA-D Wireless Transmitter is compatible with DSC wireless alarms. It is part of the iON line of sensors from Nascom. It is 3/4″ and easy to install.

The recessed 3/4″ iON Plunger MICRA-D Wireless is a single device and needs no magnet. The plunger sensor mounts inside the hinged side of the door jamb. It has an internal magnet and does not require a second piece. When the door closes, the plunger is depressed and it satisfies the zone. Once the door opens, the plunger pops out and triggers the contact. This causes a fault or an alarm, depending on the state of the alarm system.

The PLUNGER-D includes a plastic straw that covers the antenna. The purpose is to keep the antenna straight. Keeping the antenna straight will provide the maximum transmitting range. Never coil or cut the antenna. If space is an issue, you can bend the antenna in half, but this could reduce the transmitting range. It will work on any panel that supports the DSC 433 MHz wireless signal
