This Pakedge L3 Managed Gigabit Switch belongs to the class of high-performance networking solutions for challenging residential, commercial, and pro-AV environments. They come in 12-, 24-, and 44-port configurations, and all of them have PoE+ 1 Gbps Ethernet ports to power connected devices, but for keeping stable high-speed data transfer. The switch provides advanced Layer 2 and Layer 3 functionality and is therefore good for complex networking configurations. For scalable, high-bandwidth connectivity, the 44-port model (with 24 PoE ports and partial PoE+) includes four 10 Gbps SFP+ uplink ports to link to other network devices, while the 24 PoE + 2 Rear Ports and 12 PoE + 2 Rear Ports models each offer two 10 Gbps SFP+ uplinks. Optimized for AV over IP systems, the switch supports audio-over-IP protocols such as Dante, AES67, and Q-LAN, and provides robust multicast support through IGMP v2/v3 and PIM. With built-in OvrC remote management for easy remote configuration and troubleshooting.
