The Honeywell Compatible Glass Break Detector is a wireless glass break detector compatible with Honeywell wireless alarm systems. It identifies the unique sound of breaking glass when placed 4-25 feet from the protected glass. It also delivers a 4-6 year battery life, so you won’t have to worry about replacing batteries too often.

Unique to Honeywell, this glass break detector also has an external input with its own wireless channel that can be used to connect a wired alarm contact as a separate zone to the alarm system.

This detector is also compatible with Honeywell and 2GIG.

Key Instructions

• Mount sensor at least 3.3 ft from desired protected window (Max 25 ft)
• Needs to be in line of sight of window being protected (avoid corners and also doors blocking the sensor)
• Glassbreak is 1st (outer) hardwire zone (Loop 1)
• External Contact connection uses 2nd (inner) hardwire zone (Loop 3) – With Common Center Terminal

Enrolling

1. Place Panel in RF learn mode.
2. Input Type = RF
3. Push Enrollment Button to enroll, select Loop 1 for Glassbreak. For External contact, select Loop 3 for External Contact.

Operation

• Sensor detects glass breaking from framed windows, and sends alarm to control panel
• External Contact – Loop 3 (if activated) alarms on seperate zone
• Enrollment Button (will send tamper signal) – Pushing it sends signal to Panel for enrolling
• Supervisories, every hour (including Ext Contact, if activated)
