The Hardwired Alarm Contact can be used with any hardwired system to protect an opening like a door, window, or even a gate. It’s also installed fairly easily, and it can be used indoors or outdoors. Additionally, its maximum switching voltage is AC110/DC100.

Installation instructions:

1. Surface mount switch at top or side (NOT on hinge side) of door or hinged window frame
2. On double hung window, surface mount the switch at top, side or bottom of window frame
3. Surface mount the magnet parallel to the switch. Make sure Gap is not less than 1/4” between switch and magnet
4. Insert leads from alarm circuit under terminals
