Hardwire to Wireless Honeywell 8 Zone Module works to take up to 8 normally closed hardwired contacts and convert them to 8 independent wireless zones. This product is ideal for panel take overs, or where contacts are prewired but not in an ideal location for the control panel. Since its 100% battery operated it can be placed virtually anywhere to simplify the installation. For devices that require power (i.e. motion detector) a separate power supply is required. It can be the existing control panel or a standalone power supply capable of providing the appropriate power.
Transition from hardwired to wireless is simple with this module. Hardwire to Wireless Honeywell 8 Zone Module Converting up to 8 hardwired, normally closed loops into 8 independent wireless zones means leveraging what is already in the home.

Hardwire to Wireless Honywell 8 Zone Module has one serial number printed on the back of the unit. This serial number is for zone one. Then for each subsequent zone, simply add 1 to the last digit. For example if the serial number printed on the back is 033 4561, then that is the serial number for input 1, for input two it would be 033 4562, etc . To enroll zones, put the control panel in learn mode and either enter the corresponding serial number, or trigger the desired zone by shorting and opening it twice when prompted by the control panel. When manually entering the serial number, ensure the zones configure in order to use Loop 2.
Included with the device is hardware to mount the device on a wall. Choose a location that is ideal for both the hardwired contacts and still within range of the new control panel.
When the battery is low, a signal automatically sends using zone 1 serial number to the control panel .
To replace the battery:
1. Remove the top cover reveal the battery. This will trigger a tamper signal at the control panel.
2. Replace both batteries ensuring correct polarity as show on the device.
3. Re-attached the cover. You should hear a click when the cover engages properly
