ADT Brown Black Replacement Magnet is a replacement magnet specifically for the Mini ADT Command Door Window Sensors. But of course, they can also be used for just about any wireless or hardwired door/window sensor that uses a magnet to align with the reed switch sensor to specify closure.

The ADT Brown Black Replacement Magnet is for wireless surface-mount contacts used for monitoring doors, windows, and cabinets. With its excellent functionality and reliability, this is a great magnet for anyone who needs to monitor a door or window in almost any indoor environment including commercial applications.

It is made for those sensors that operate in a similar manner to most other door and window sensors. The device consists of a sensor and a separate magnet. The sensor is installed on the frame of the door or window. Then the magnet is carefully aligned to the moving portion of the door or window. It should be within a half inch of the sensor when the door or window is closed. If the magnet is not aligned properly with the sensor it will not show that the door or window is closed.
