The 1-Gang Door Station is a stainless steel substation that is vandal-proof and weather-resistant. This unit may be flush-fitted into a 1-gang box or surface mounted using the SBX-1G and is made of 12 gauge stainless steel. Each item comes with installation tools and tamper-proof screws. The 1-Gang Door Station is powered with 10W output for large or high-noise areas. When the master station responds to a call from the door station, hands-free communication is normally initiated. The user at the master station may speak and listen to the person at the remote station without having to click any buttons or hold any devices. The farthest master station can be located 650 feet away from the door station when using 22AWG cable or 1,600 feet away when using 18AWG wire.
