The Wired Photoelectric Smoke Detector incorporates a low-profile design and features that help reduce false alarms and provide consistent smoke detection. Additionally, this detector is also designed to require minimum maintenance. In addition, during an alarm, the LED will flash once per second and the siren will sound. The detector also has a nominal fixed alarm sensitivity and it will go into alarm when the signal level exceeds the “alarm” threshold and send the alarm signal to the control panel.

1. Fewer false alarms: Wired photoelectric smoke detectors are less likely to produce false alarms compared to ionization smoke detectors, which use a different sensing technology. This is because photoelectric detectors are better at detecting smoldering fires, which are the most common types of fires that occur in homes.
2. Long lifespan: Since wired photoelectric smoke detectors are connected to the home’s electrical system, they don’t rely on batteries that need to be replaced. This means that they can last for many years without requiring any maintenance.
