To replace your battery, press your thumbs on top of the two knobs on the top of your keypad to pry apart the keypad. Once open, battery should be visible. Pull apart the red (positive) chord. Unplug the black (negative) chord from your keypad. Press against the latch gently in order to free up the old battery. Once old battery is removed, pull off both red and black wires from the end of your battery, and place them on the corresponding terminals on your new battery. When inserting the new battery, be sure to place both black and red chords in the appropriate notches found in the battery holder. Insert the plug back into the keypad. Reconnect the red wires. Covers of keypad should snap back into place.
