The Qolsys IQ Panel 4 Replacement Battery is an easy-to-install replacement and back-up battery for your Qolsys IQ Panel 4. It is a replacement lithium-ion battery in case you need one for your existing IQ Panel 4. Using state-of-the-art technology, this is a small but efficient battery in the security and smart home industry, that lasts up to 24 hours. Unlike Li-Ion batteries in typical devices such as your smartphone or tablet, the IQ Panel 4 is typically running on A/C power, which means the battery is only used in an emergency situation. This may dramatically extend your battery life, reducing the need to replace it.

Special Instructions:

1. Power down panel: Go to Settings/Advanced Settings and enter the Installer/Dealer/Master code, then select “Power Down”.
2. Unplug Battery Connector: Once the panel is powered down, unplug 4 pin battery connector from the board.
3. Remove Battery: Pull up on the edge of the battery with your finger to release it from the plastic hold down.
4. Install New Battery: Press the battery into place. Route the cable between the battery and the daughter cards. Plug the 4 pin connector back in and power the panel back up.

CAUTION:

• Do NOT use a screwdriver or anything sharp that could puncture the battery.
• Do NOT pull on the battery cable to try and remove the battery.
