Both versions are the same, with the 2.8mm having a wider field of view (103°) to cover more, and the 4.0mm having a narrower view (84°) to monitor more closely. The True WDR improves image clarity in high-contrast lighting, allowing the camera to capture clear details in both bright and dark areas simultaneously. It has an adaptive night vision system with infrared capability that delivers effective performance in low-light conditions up to 98 feet. The camera uses H.264 and MJPEG video compression to enhance bandwidth and storage optimization, in addition to preserving high-quality video streams of the network-based surveillance systems. An onboard microSD card slot supporting up to 512GB enables local video backup in addition to network video recording.

This OpenEye 4MP Indoor Micro Dome IP Camera offers two-way audio, featuring an inbuilt microphone, line-in, and line-out connections, enabling communication and audio monitoring.
