ClareOne Replacement Magnet Kit works as a replacement rare earth magnet for standard ClareOne door and window sensors that exist and is presently working with your current ClareOne Wireless Home Security Panel system.

If you are using a wireless transmitter with your magnet, you need to make sure you install the magnet no further than ½” from the senor when the door/window is closed.  If the magnet is further than ½” from the transmitter, it will falsely state that the door/window is open. In short, perfect installation is required to make the magnet work right  Proper alignment between the magnet and the sensor is essential to the proper function of the sensor. Make sure the magnet is between the two-line marks on the side of the wireless sensor where it typically marks the spot by a sticker.  Improper installation of the magnet will cause the window sensor to malfunction and provide false readings.

If you wanted to keep your window or door open while it is armed you could install the ClareOne Replacement Magnet Kit second magnet 3-6 inches in. So that it would be lined up with the sensor even while the window is open. That way you could arm your system without bypassing a window sensor.

The accessory kit comprises mounting pads of various sizes, spacers, magnets, replacement screws, and magnet covers.
