This Alarm.com Single Gang Outlet Box Adapter is an adapter for a single gang outlet for the Alarm.com 1080P Outdoor Wi-Fi Camera. Which allows you to mount the camera on the outside of the outlet box. The Single Gang Outlet Box Adapter is a good way to keep any wires and wiring junctions to be protected from the elements. What protects the outlet is that the adapter is made out of metal. That also has a rubber gasket that will seal the box opening to protect against moisture. Furthermore, in the middle of the metal plate. It has a pre-made hole in the center that lines up the mounting bracket of the camera. Which makes it easy to pass the power wiring for the camera through the adapter.

Installation 

When installing the Alarm.com 1080P Outdoor Wi-Fi Camera, you will start by removing the existing outlet box cover. When you remove the original cover, attach the Single Gang Outlet Box Adapter to the outlet box using the screws included with the Single Gang Outlet Box Adapter. Once that is attached, you will then secure the mounting bracket for the Alarm.com 1080P Outdoor Wi-Fi Camera to the Single Gang Outlet Box Adapter. Then you can slide the camera into place and tighten it with the set screws.
