This module does not require its own battery or transformer. It runs on the control panel’s AC power and backup battery sources. The Alarm.com Simon XT LTE Module can function reliably for more the 24 hours during a power outage.

You can also control the operation on the Simon XT/XTi from the Alarm.com web and mobile interface. It is simple it allows system access at any time, from any location.
