ADT Hardwired Recessed Door Sensor 3/4 with Terminals diameter is a recessed door or window contact with screw terminals instead of leads. It is ideal for all hardwired security systems. Unlike surface mount contacts, this Sensor 3/4″ with Terminals is recessed.

In order to install the ADT Hardwired Recessed Door Sensor 3/4 with Terminals; you must drill a 3/4” diameter hole into the frame and door or window. Also that is at least 1.5” in depth. And match up to each other when the window or door is closed. The contact is then recessed into the door or window frame, and the matching magnet is recessed into the door or window itself, opposite the contact. Hardwired should be installed in an area with a gap no wider than 3/4” to ensure that contact is made when the door or window is closed. This contact is also equipped with  “T” terminals which make installation a breeze. The terminals eliminate splice and solder and are compatible with a standard-sized screwdriver.

This sensor is ideal for hardwired installations. And where you want no signs of security devices. As they require more work to install but are practically invisible once properly set up.
