The 1/4″ Recessed Contact is a recessed contact designed to monitor the status of doors, windows, and other access points. This type of recessed contact adds an extra degree of security against illegal access using a magnet and switch. The magnet can be attached to a door or frame making it almost unnoticeable from the outside. It is perfect for installations where space is limited. After being installed, the contact uses a strong magnet to detect when the access point opens and closes, immediately alerting the security system. The product comes in two color options either white or brown. The standard gap between the magnet or switch is 0.71” (18mm) with 12” (305mm) 22 AWG Leads Standard. The 1/4″ Recessed Contact also complies with RoHS regulations. This ensures human safety because it has been tested for ten banned substances in any electronic device.
