It features a responsive touchscreen that allows easy locking and unlocking, eliminating the need for traditional keys. Auto-Unlock makes the door unlock on your arrival home and Auto-Lock locks the door when you are leaving for home giving a feel of ease. This lock can be easily interfaced with Z-Wave smart home systems to enable smart lock functionality such as; remote locking, programming of entry codes, and receiving real-time notifications from your Smartphone (Requires compatible hub and app, no Yale app is used for this lock). It has also been designed for longevity and complies with the ANSI/BHMA Grade 2 standard as well as a fire rating of 90 minutes. Also, it uses IPX5-rated for water and dust resistance, ensuring reliable operation in various weather conditions.

Additionaly, the  Yale Pro-2 Key-Free Touchscreen Lock has a battery backup system that uses a 9V battery to make sure you won’t be locked out of your home due to power loss, or a low battery. Available in stylish finishes like Satin Nickel, Black Suede, Oil-Rubbed Bronze, and Lifetime Brass, the Yale Pro-2 Key-Free Keypad is designed to complement any home.
