It features a deep learning processing unit (DLPU) to support intelligent applications on the edge, enhancing security and operational efficiency. With Lighthunter technology, it provides excellent image clarity, even in challenging lighting conditions. The varifocal lens, ranging from 3-6 mm with remote zoom and focus capabilities, allows for flexible installation and optimal coverage. Leveraging its DLPU supporting deep learning-based analytics, including AXIS Object Analytics for detecting and classifying objects such as humans and vehicles. An HDMI port enables direct connection to public viewing monitors, while optional AXIS T61 Audio and I/O Interfaces provide additional audio and input/output functionalities. It supports video compression formats H.264, H.265, and Motion JPEG, with resolutions up to 2304×1728 and frame rates of 25/30 fps.

The Axis 4MP Vandal Resistant Dome Camera includes two-way audio connectivity via optional interfaces and comprehensive network security features such as HTTPS encryption and IEEE 802.1X network access control. With open API support for software integration, ONVIF compliance, and a wide range of supported network protocols. Built with a durable polycarbonate and aluminum casing, the camera is IP42-rated for dust and water resistance and IK08-rated for impact resistance.
