Overhead Door Rail 3″ Mount Magnet/Switch Set TRACK MOUNT FLIP SWITCHTM with universal magnet handles commercial and industrial overhead door applications.
The Overhead Door Rail 3″ Mount Magnet/Switch Set combines the installers’ choice of contact configuration with an N35 grade NdFeB magnet for maximum gap performance.
The closed-loop versions of the N505AUTMC prevent false alarms caused by the up-and-down movement of overhead doors with our unique NO DEAD SPOT technology. The switch can be mounted with the cable in either direction, without loss of gap.

- Get Ready: Gather the magnet/switch set, screws, screwdriver, and drill (if needed).
- Choose Spots: Pick where to put the magnet on the overhead door rail and the switch on the door frame.
- Clean Up: Make sure those spots are clean.
- Stick Magnet: Screw the magnet onto the door rail.
- Place Switch: Screw the switch onto the door frame.
- Wire It: Connect the wires according to the instructions.
- Test It: Open and close the door to check if it works.
- Adjust if Needed: Move the magnet or switch if they’re not working right.
- Secure the Wires: Keep the wires tidy and safe.
