The Interlogix Wireless Heat Detector 135 is the perfect addition to your security system to provide early detection of fire in a kitchen, garage, or anywhere you want to know if the temperature has risen to above 135 Degrees Fahrenheit.

This detector’s Rate-of-Rise and Fixed-Temperature Sensor offers an effective fire safety solution for environments with high likelihood of rapid fire development. So this could include a kitchen or utility room. It can also be where optical smoke detectors cannot function effectively due to high dust conditions.  This can include a laundry room, garage, or attic. These sensors will monitor the room temperature and activate an alarm if the temperature gets too high or rises rapidly. You can also see a model that activates a separate freeze alarm if the temperature drops below a specified point.

Its compatible with Interlogix and Qolsys Panels.

Additionally, this sensor uses electronic processing to detect both heat and freeze conditions, using a learn mode wireless transmitter. The micro-processor trips the transmitter when the temperature at the sensor location reaches a fixed temperature of 135°F (57°C). The sensor will also activate if the temperature increases at a rate equal to or higher than 12°F (6.7°C) per minute. If activated, both elements (rate-of-rise or fixed temperature) of the Interlogix Wireless Heat Detector are self-restoring when the alarm condition has been removed.
