ADT Flood Probe Sensor

(1 customer review)

$50.00

The ADT Flood Probe Sensor is a wired probe that detects water in a flood situation. It’s similar to the Probe for Flood Sensor, but this one already has a 16 foot cable already wired to the probe with the resistor strapped across. This is just a simple probe that connects to a flood transmitter like the Wireless Temperature and Flood Sensor or the wired Water Sensor.

You can mount this sensor to the floor or wall with the included screw. (You an also use tape but regular tape can un-stick with contact from water, so high-rated tape is recommended.)

Some areas are higher risk than others for a flood, but you could have up to 1 in 4 chance of having a flood in your home during the life of your 30-year mortgage. This is around five times more likely than the odds of having a fire in your home. If you are not in a high-risk area almost 25% of all flood claims still come from low to moderate-risk areas.

Features of the ADT Flood Probe Sensor:
  • 16 ft cable wired to probe
  • Can mount it to the floor or wall
  • Dimensions – 3.1” length, 1.6”wide, 1.0” depth

It has consistently detected even the slightest presence of water, allowing me to address the issue before it becomes a major problem.
