2.5 Amp Power Supply Description:

This Power Supply is a power supply/charger that converts low voltage AC input to a 6VDC, 12VDC or 24VDC @ 2.5 amp of continuous supply current output. In addition, this model is a DIN Rail Mount version of this product. This power supply also has a wide range of applications for access control systems as well as any security system accessories that need additional power. Typically you will need additional power if you have an alarm system that needs more power for several sirens or touchscreen keypads. Usually, this power supply needs a separate box, transformer, and backup battery.

If you want to use this for 24VDC then you will need a specific transformer that has 28VAC and 100VA. If you are wanting to use it for 6VDC or 12VDC you can just use the normal 16VAC 40VA plug in transformer.
