The ADT Hardwired 2 Wire Smoke Detector is a wired smoke detector that is photoelectric. It also has a heat detector and a sounder. Additionally, this detector lasts around 7-10 years. Fortunately, it’s super easy to replace since you just need to re-hook up the wires to the same spot on the new one, and it should work just as it did before. There is no programming needed, so replacement is a breeze.
