The battery-powered ADT Garage Door Tilt Sensor Replacement sends an "open" or "closed" status to the ADT Garage Door Controller. This sensor reports the garage door’s position to your home security system and is very important. Without this tilt sensor, your garage door controller cannot receive accurate signals through ADT Pulse and will malfunction until replaced. The ADT Tilt Sensor is designed to mount vertically on surfaces that tilt horizontally when opened — providing an easy way to secure garage doors or basement tilt windows. Anytime the sensor detects the tilt movement, a notification transmits to the control panel. The sensor programs as a monitored or notification only zone.
