Who says large companies cannot get A ratings from the BBB? Not ADT. With over 6.5 Million customers they have been able to keep their reputation as being a great company that cares about its customers.

ADT has been making a large focus on listening to customer feedback and responding quickly to resolve concerns in 2013-2014.

There was an article in the Wall Street Journal that shares the story.

ADT has a Chief Customer Officer named Shaun Lucht. It is his job to improve the customers experience and ADTs consumer ratings.  In regards to the recent rating he said, “We’re honored that the BBB has rated ADT among the top companies in the industry. As a company we strive every day to earn and keep the trust of our customers as we help protect what matters most to them — their families, homes, and businesses. Our customers are the center of every decision we make.”

Companies that have good customer service practices and sound selling principles are usually found with higher ratings on the BBB. Unfortunately there are many security companies that have not been able to maintain a high rating on the BBB.  With Zions Security Alarms having an A+ rating and ADT having an A rating you can feel confident that you will be well taken care of as a Zions Security Alarms and ADT customer.

I think that new surveys that ADT has been doing with JD Power and Associates and the cahnges they are making to improve are making headway to an even better customer service reputation.

I also think that with so many ADT customers using social media, ADT is also able to respond quickly to complaints and resolve them even faster.

With improvements like this I do not see how ADT will not have over 7 million customers in the next 12-24 months.
